The Used Equipment Consignment Sale is an opportunity for members of the fiber community to buy aor sell used fiber equipment during the Fiber Market!

Find that special piece of fiber equipment you've been looking for at the consignment sale!
This is a great way to pick up a tool you want (or didn't KNOW you needed) and save some money, while helping another fiber artist declutter. WIN! WIN!
Be sure to cruise the consignment area early and often, as the offerings may change throughout the day, both Friday and Saturday.
Payment by cash, check or credit card, or Cash APP.
Per NC law, sales tax will be charged on all consignment items.
Sellers
If you have equipment you would like to sell, SCFM will take a 10% commission on all sales.
Fill out the form at the link below (so we can start promoting your items) and bring your piece to the market at 604 Doug Mayes Pl., Charlotte, Â either Thursday, August 6 between 1-6 pm or Friday, August 7 after 9 am.
Equipment only, no fiber or yarn.
Small items, like individual needles and hooks, aren't accepted, but collections of mutiple items, or needle and hook sets are great.
If you are unable to fill out the online form (or decide to try and sell something at the last minute), you may still bring your items and fill out the form on site.
We strongly recommend dropping off your items on Thursday or EARLY Friday, so that it can be seen by the greatest number of potential buyers. Items WILL be accepted until 11am on Saturday, but earlier drop off is more likely to result in a sale.
You will need to collect unsold items from the fiber market by 5:30 on Saturday. Uncollected items will become the property of SCFM unless other arrangements are made prior to the close of the market.
Checks will be issued for all sold items within 21 days of the end of the market.
Sales tax will be collected and paid by SCFM for all items sold in the consignment sale.
